"Hey LeBron James, a storm is coming": Skip Bayless plays down the Lakers' win over Kevin Durant and co by warning them about Kawhi Leonard's Clippers

Skip Bayless warns LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers about their crosstown rival LA Clippers’ incoming ‘thunderstorm’.

The LA Lakers have been massively shorthanded this season. The franchise is without both their biggest stars in LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Since their injuries, the franchise has found it much harder to win games, causing them to slip to 5th in the West.

So, when the Lakers were able to pull off a blowout victory against the Brooklyn Nets with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the floor, many were simply happy for the team. But, it seems that Skip Bayless has made it his mission to hate on the franchise.

The infamous analyst was very active on Twitter during the game and dropped a series of tweets throughout. As you would expect, all of these tweets went against the LA Lakers. And this one is no exception.

Skip Bayless reminds LeBron James about their noisy neighbors after their win against the Nets

It seems Skip Bayless loves to hate on LeBron James. He has been doing it for a long time, essentially made a career out of it, and doesn’t seem like he is going to stop anytime soon.

A lot of his tweets during the night of the game followed the same theme. But this one, while still holding a tone of condescension, maybe truer than what many would like to believe.

What Skip Bayless manages to highlight most in this tweet, is the level of depth the LA Clippers have at the moment. Their supporting cast has been much improved since last year, and the franchise quite simply poses a far larger threat to the LA Lakers than they ever have.

Still, though, it is the timing of the tweet that has annoyed many in the NBA community, and justifiably so. This came right after the franchise’s emphatic win against the Brooklyn Nets when Lakers fans were simply celebrating. And that combined with the condescending tone has brought a lot of backlash onto Bayless.

The analyst needs to be careful with what he says before this whole situation boils over to something far more catastrophic for him.
