The Golden State Warriors continued their hot run, increasing their win streak to 4, as they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier tonight. The Warriors went to the Quicken Loan Arena and fished out a 119-101 win.
Steph led the charge with 33 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. This marked the 9th straight game where Curry scored 30 or more, a feat that no Warrior has achieved since Rick Barry in the 60s.
During the half-time of the game, Warriors’ reporter for NBCS Kerith Burke asked Stephen Curry to do the airplane celebration. Curry had recently revealed that he checks his mentions during the half-time of the game, and Burke wanted to check the same.
Hi @StephenCurry30 if you see this at halftime, would you consider running back on the court with your arms out like a Stepherson Airplane?

Stephen Curry does the airplane celebration for Kerith Burke
Curry’s teammate Draymond Green had once revealed that Curry likes to check his mentions during the half-time break. Green had said that Curry uses the comments as motivation to do better in the other half of the game.
When Kerith Burke asked Curry to do the airplane celebration, he did not shy away from her request. With a little over 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, Curry hit a deep 3, and made the airplane sign on his way back.

Curry pulling out the celebration had Burke ecstatic, and why wouldn’t it! One of the biggest superstars in the league just did her bidding. After the game, Burke asked Curry why did he do the airplane celebration. Curry replied with “you know exactly why I did it”.

The Warriors have a tough few games ahead of them to wrap this road trip. They face the Celtics, Sixers, and the Wizards before they head home to take on the Nuggets. Curry and co. would like to get a few more wins and get that 8th spot, so the play-in games become easier for them.
