“How did he predict a Bucks vs Suns Finals 5 years before it happened?!”: NBA fan incredibly prophesized Devin Booker going up against Giannis Antetokounmpo back in 2016
An NBA fan took to Twitter back in 2016 to accurately predict an NBA Finals between the Suns and the Bucks in the year 2021.
It feels as though random tweets from years past get unearthed each time a major event in the NBA landscape takes place. A couple years back a fan accurately predicted the Toronto Raptors would win the 2019 Finals in 6 games, a year before it actually happened. Now, a fan named Jarrett Palmer on Twitter, had put out a prophecy involving the Bucks and the Suns.
Back in November of 2016, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns were incredibly different teams than what they are today. Devin Booker and company were quite literally the worst team in the league (only slightly better than the Brooklyn Nets) as they were the 15th seed in the Western Conference, boasting a record of 24-58.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was still coming into his own and the 2016-17 season was a great leap into stardom for the Greek native. Though there were flashes of what the Bucks could become, there was no clear sign that the 42-40 Milwaukee franchise could take the next step into title contention.
NBA fan predicts the Bucks will win Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Suns.
Despite the Bucks and the Suns not being anywhere close to championship caliber teams, Jarett Palmer took to Twitter to say that 5 years from then, in the 2021 NBA Finals, the two aforementioned teams would square off on the biggest stage in the NBA. The second part of this prophecy of his claims that the Bucks take Game 7 and win 123-115.

The first part of his prediction, obviously, has rung true as the Bucks beat the Hawks, without Giannis, in Game 6 to book their ticket to the Finals. The second part however, is far more specific as Palmer believes the series will go 7 games and the 2x MVP’s squad will come out on top after a final score of 123-115.
