Jimmy Butler reportedly threatened (jokingly) Goran Dragic into signing a deal with the Miami Heat.

The Miami Heat exceeded all expectations this past season as they made their way to the NBA Finals. They managed to give Lakers fans a sizeable scare by pushing the series to 6 games.
One of the most important factors in Miami’s run to the 2020 NBA Finals was the fact that the team had great chemistry through and through.
So if the Heat wanted to stay in title contention, bringing back their main guys for the 2020-21 NBA season was a must. Their leading scorer through the Playoffs was Goran Dragic.
Dragic is the standard beloved veteran in the locker room, who can also produce on the court. So when Dragic hit free agency, Jimmy Butler did his all to bring him back.
Jimmy “threatens” Goran Dragic into staying with the Heat.
The way the Heat behaved with one another, on and off the court, there was little to no doubt the Heat would bring back most of their guys.
Free agency started on November 20th and hours later, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Goran Dragic will be signing a 2 year/$37.4 million deal with the Heat.

Tim Reynolds took to Twitter to talk about an interesting exchange between Butler and Dragic. Jimmy reportedly threatened the Slovenian national with “physical violence” if he didn’t re-sign with the Heat.
This is of course a light-hearted joke between the 2 as they were seen getting closer during the 2020 Playoffs.
The Miami Heat purchased billboards in Slovenia
The Heat have always taken pride in being a player first organization. To show support to Dragic for re-signing with them, the Heat purchased billboards in Goran’s home country of Slovenia.
These billboards will probably be used to plaster Dragic all over them.
