"I Hate You Too Motherf****r": When Allen Iverson Blasted Former ESPN Columnist For Hating Him Throughout His Career

Allen Iverson was not just one of the greatest players to ever dribble a basketball, the man had a storied career that started with him changing the NBA forever to then the league almost changing him.

However, even with most of the media and NBA high command, David Stern, the commissioner himself stopping him from being himself and influencing other players around him, The Answer stayed real.

But, AI wasn’t hurt by Stern who was a man of discipline and wanted the league a certain way that didn’t go hand-in-hand with the Iverson-tide, the 76ers stars hated the media guys who targeted him for a living, and one of them was Jason Whitlock.

Allen Iverson hates only one person – Jason Whitlock

Jason Whitlock was to Allen Iverson what Skip Bayless is to LeBron James now. Only, Skip never attacks James personally, he talks only about him as an individual.

Whitlock, who once lost his job with Kansas City Star for heckling some fans, did the same with Iverson, only, throughout the 11x All-Star’s 14-year career.

And that’s why the 2001 MVP, who never hated anybody or still probably doesn’t, or so he says, hates the guts of the former ESPN columnist. He talked about it in an appearance on All The Smoke and said “I Hate You Too Motherf****r” without actually saying his name.

He doesn’t exactly have to say his name for us to know who he is talking about.

Whitlock might have been a hater, but he was right about some things

The former ‘Speak For Yourself’ panelist wrote about Iverson early in his career that he was the Tupac Shakur of the NBA, and will have a comparatively humbling career than the way it started.

Whitlock used to give his views as blatantly as possible, so it never sat well with AI, but most of it did turn out to be true.

Had the man sounded reasonable and not like a hater who just hated everything Iverson did and believed it was to ruin the league, Iverson might have taken him seriously and everyone would have benefited from it.
