"I Told You So": LaVar Ball calls out LiAngelo Ball haters in typical LaVar fashion after Gelo's strong Summer League debut

Patriarch of the Ball family, LaVar Ball gives out a simple message for the haters during LiAngelo Ball’s first Summer League game

The NBA is a league that’s not for everyone, but at the same time, open to all. There are many families who have multiple people play in the prestigious league. We have seen fathers-sons play in the league, and a lot of brothers do so as well. We’ve even seen three brothers play together, as Justin Holiday, Jrue Holiday, and Aaron Holiday all are part of the league. There may soon be another addition to the brother triplets if LiAngelo Ball lands a contract for the upcoming season.

Their father LaVar Ball couldn’t be a prouder man. After being called multiple names for claiming that his sons would be in the NBA, he’s on the path to prove all the haters wrong. Lonzo Ball just signed a 4-year, $88 million deal with the Bulls. LaMelo Ball just had a terrific Rookie of the Year campaign. With LiAngelo Ball putting up a show for the Hornets in the Summer League, he may get himself a contract too.

LaVar Ball has a simple message for the haters

While usually known for his bold speeches and loud messages, LaVar Ball chose the high road last night. Attending his son LiAngelo Ball’s summer league debut, LaVar did not interact with the media, but let his outfit do the talking for him. He wore a ‘I Told You So’ hat to the game, and that in itself said it all.

LiAngelo had a wonderful first game, coming off the bench for the Hornets. He scored 16 points, shooting 5/8 from 3s.

If he carries on his play like this, there is no doubt that LiAngelo would end with a contract for the upcoming season soon. As for LaVar Ball, we can all surely hear the proud dad laugh at the haters.
