Anthony Edwards has been hooping this season. Really, there is no other word for how good his game has been over the last 21 games. 22.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 45.7% overall.

Now, the Timberwolves, for the most part, have a very good team. However, with Karl-Anthony Towns having suffered his unfortunate injury, they needed the Ant-Man to step up.
That can be difficult for some. But, as this interaction with a certain Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant proves, the man has taken that burden with the biggest smile in the world.

Anthony Edwards says he is ‘him’ to Tee Morant after he outclasses Ja Morant in Wolves win
Anthony Edwards just doesn’t care how difficult things are supposed to be. If he has the ball in his hands, he is going to go off. And against the Grizzlies, evidently, that didn’t change.

Heck, it was the kind of performance that starts off the story of a superstar in the NBA. And to make it all the better, he even had this hilarious back-and-forth with Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant.
Tee Morant: “I know who you are.”
Anthony Edwards: “You know it. I’m Him.”
Tee: “There’s only 1 Him!”

Now, of course, Morant is going to say his son is ‘him’ (a synonym of the phrase ‘he’s that man!’, exclaiming the brilliance of a certain individual).
However, Edwards was unfazed, just how it absolutely should be.
And we can’t help but love to see it.
What is the latest on Karl-Anthony Towns?

However, thankfully, scans have proven it to be nothing more than an extreme case of a calf strain. But, if not tended to properly, it could develop into something far more serious.
Due to that reason, the Minnesota Timberwolves seem to be taking all the extra precautions required, with Towns being kept on the sideline for 4-6 weeks by the franchise.
