Luka Doncic is absolutely ridiculous. Over the course of this season, a sector of fans have come to believe that a lot of the Mavericks’ problems tend to originate from the Slovenian’s ball-dominant game. But with results as the kind he puts up, can one really argue?

Recently, the man had a big, big game against the Warriors, the team that eliminated them in the Conference Finals in last season’s playoffs. So, it’s fair to say that the man and his team were more than a bit motivated to win this one.
However, it appears that the moment never got to the Slovenian. Heck, in a hilarious interview moment, he apparently seemed to be in the mood to be a stand-up comedian.
Let’s get into it, shall we?
Luka Doncic gives Charles Barkley a hilarious reason as to why the Mavericks
Golden State Warriors vs Dallas Mavericks was always going to be a nationally televised game. So of course, the guys from Inside the NBA were all there together to see how it went down as well. And it appears that Charles Barkley had some thoughts at half-time.
Something Doncic answered with a rather funny statement. Take a look at it all go down, in the clip in the tweet below.
Charles Barkley: “Do you guys think y’all need to play at a much faster pace?” Luka Doncic: “Yeah we have, but I’m slow.” pic.twitter.com/9BygahzxOx

Of course, he didn’t actually mean he was too slow. In fact, it seems that he took Charles Barkley’s advice to heart, as the Mavericks got into their offense far quicker in the second half.
But, did it work against the reigning champs?
Luka Doncic finished with a 41 piece, and the win as well
To be more specific here, Doncic recorded an insane 41 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block, while shooting 52% from the field, and 44.5% from deep.
Now, there were nervy moments, as Klay Thompson had the chance to bury a game-tying three, with a decent look. However, it was short, and Dallas took home a victory they admittedly very much deserved.
Playoff Luka’s appearance in the middle of the regular season did not go unrewarded.
