'I'm on phone calls everyday': James Harden has been donating water and food in Houston amid winter storms in Texas

James Harden has been selflessly lending his hand, providing food and water for the city of Houston amidst the winter storms in Texas.

Harden revealed how the state of Texas is currently undergoing a winter crisis with storms across the state. These storms are causing power and water outages for several people in the state.

He spoke highly about Hoston and the love he received there:

“I’m on calls literally every day. All-day. Trying to impact the city because they showed me so much love and respect during the time I was there. I call Houston my home.”

‘I’m forever indebted to the city of Houston’: James Harden has already donated 3,000 meals

James Harden stated that he was forever indebted to the city which accepted him with open arms. Even though Harden never found the success he was looking for at Houston, he’s rightfully earned the people’s love and respect.

James has already donated 3,000 meals through his Houston-based restaurant, ‘Thirteen’. Harden also admitted that he has been in contact with the city’s mayor in order to help the city recover. He also added:

“As far as plumbing… I’ve reached out, and I’m in contact with some plumbing companies that have been, for these last few days, taking care of seven or eight houses a night. Patching up these pipes, because once the electricity came back on, pipes started to burst. We’ve seen so many cases of that in Houston.”

“I’ve been in contact with Mayor [Sylvester] Turner, the Relief Gang, just so many people that I’ve known that are able to help while I’m not there. Obviously, this is a huge problem, but I try to impact it and help, as much as I can, while I’m not there. And I’ll continue that. It won’t stop, because there’s so many people that have been affected. I can’t stop.”
