“I trust the NBA with their safety protocols”: Nets head coach Steve Nash disagrees with Lakers MVP LeBron James on the prospect of having an All-Star Game

LeBron James has evolved his game to the point where he’s able to warn Kevin Love of his move before it happens, as was the case in Lakers vs Cavs.

Love’s recent appearance on Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye’s Road Trippin’ podcast was one of the best interviews of late. The Cavs star, who’s working his way back to full fitness, talked about a whole host of topics.

The trio won an NBA championship with LeBron James in 2016. So it was understandable that a lot of their talk revolved around James and his excellence overall. All three of them are in the ‘LeBron is the GOAT’ camp, and they made sure to add a ton to that narrative on this one.

Channing Frye recounted an instance of trash talk on James gone wrong during his Suns tenure. Richard Jefferson added a couple of his own tales. Overall, it’s a must-watch for LeBron fans in general.

LeBron James told Kevin Love what he’d do to a gap coverage, proceeds to carry it out as advertised

Love described one hilarious exchange he and James had in the fourth quarter of the recent Lakers vs Cavs game:

“It’s me sitting there. We were all up at the front. It was crunch time, the end of the game. And Bron comes over, gives me a little dab, and says, ‘Hey, K Love! I sweat to god if they gap me, I am shooting this b***h’. They better not gap me, I am going to let this thing fly’.”

“So, it’s a pick and roll with Jared and Isaac Okoro, and Isaac is a rookie. He is just going by the game plan, right? Of course, they gap it and as soon as they do, you can see me go…” explained Kevin. He imitated his gesture and threw his hands up in disappointment. “That was a really, really funny moment.”
