Is Kevin Durant Playing Tonight vs Nuggets? Suns Release Injury Report for Game 1 of Western Conference Semis

The Pheonix Suns have made their way to Denver after taking care of the Clippers at home. Beating the Clippers without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in five games, the Suns got a little breather before Round 2 starts tonight. It is a highly anticipated matchup between Kevin Durant and 2x MVP Nikola Jokic.

While we all know how good Durant is, this season, his MVP campaign was ruined by an MCL injury. On the other hand, Nikola Jokic is an MVP finalist and may end up winning his 3rd MVP honors in a row.

At the same time, there are also matchups between the other stars. Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton vs Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr, and Aaron Gordon. This series has a lot to give us. However, the first question remains: Will KD suit up tonight?

Kevin Durant WILL PLAY tonight

The Suns have made it past the 1st round of the Playoffs for the 3rd straight year. The first time, they went on to face the Milwaukee Bucks in the Finals(2021). Last year, they lost in 7 games in the 2nd round to Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. Now, they face a 2x MVP in Nikola Jokic.

Thankfully for the team, injuries are not a concern right now. According to the Suns, the Injury report is clear, which means all players, including Kevin Durant, are available for the contest tonight.

Heading into the series, the Suns would be looking to repeat the sweep they had on the Nuggets in 2021. However, they’re cautious about their opponents and are not taking anything for granted for now.

This should be a fun series with a lot of exciting basketball coming our way!
