This season has been the topping on the extraordinary career of LeBron James. The Chosen One has withstood all criticism, all rivals, all doubts, and even time to continue building his legacy. It’s almost as if he refuses to stop performing at such a high level. There aren’t even a handful of athletes in the world of sports, not just basketball, who have dominated in this manner after they turned 38.

But, even amongst the athletes who played well into their late 30s, LeBron James is still an outlier. The way he is performing this season, is, arguably, even better than his MVP season. Granted the Lakers aren’t winning as many games but without LeBron, they would have barely won any games.
Heading into Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers are all set to meet the Spurs. Thankfully, the fans can expect to see LeBron James on the active roster.
LeBron James is Questionable against the Spurs
LeBron James has been questionable for the last few games due to a sore ankle. However, that is yet to stop him from playing. LeBron has been absolutely killing it regardless of any and all soreness.
With the Lakers coming off of a horrible loss to their neighbors, LA Clippers, LeBron will more than likely be hungry for another win. But safe to say, with the kind of team they are currently, it will be hard for the Lakers to win even against the Spurs.
The problem with Lakers currently is that they lack a versatile offensive big who can also defend the paint better. In Anthony Davis’s absence, this is the area the Lakers have most struggled in. They have been bullied incessantly in the paint.
But maybe upon Rui Hachimura’s addition and AD’s return, the Lakers will finally look like a solid squad. Until then, it’s going to be a LeBron show with sprinkles of slight contributions from his teammates.
King James broke a couple of records in the game against the Clippers
Though the loss to Clippers was awful, LeBron still managed to do his part. The 4-time MVP had 46 points in the game in just 32 minutes and became the only player in history to score 40 points against all the franchises.

Moreover, he also made the most number of threes in his career last night after shooting 9 of his 14 3-pts. Safe to say, LeBron James is having an exceptional season sans the wins.
