Nikola Jokic’s performances trailed off a little around the latter end of the series against the Wolves. Nevertheless, the Nuggets managed to ease past them to the second round, where they now face Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, with all due respect to Minnesota, a much tougher challenge. Needless to say, Denver will need all of its stars firing at all cylinders to move to the Western Conference Finals. But, for that to happen, they need to be healthy, an area where the Joker may have a few concerns ahead of game 1. Will he be able to get healthy enough in time to participate in this match tonight?

Nikola Jokic did have a little bit of an issue by the end of the Timberwolves series. You see, the man’s play hadn’t just trailed off on its own. As per Sports Illustrated, the Nuggets star was dealing with a wrist injury from game 2 of the series. And it is believed that as the first round went on, the ailment only bothered him more.

That said, as per ESPN, Jokic has no longer been featured on the latest injury list. This means that either Nikola Jokic has recovered from his wrist injury completely, or he has shaken it off just enough to feel reasonably confident in it. One way or the other, there is no doubt that the man will be in the starting lineup against Kevin Durant, and his robust Phoenix Suns side.
