Is Russell Westbrook Playing Tonight vs Hornets? Lakers Star's Injury Report Proves Massively Encouraging

Russell Westbrook has turned out to be a savior of sorts for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Frankly, he has been the kind of player most fans of the franchise were hoping he’d be ahead of last season. The kind of player that can take over when Anthony Davis and LeBron James can’t.

Now of course, while he has been amazing, he hasn’t been the franchise’s best this season. That title belongs to Anthony Davis. But after his relentless grit and grind to stay healthy for so long, the man has finally succumbed to injury.

With the Lakers’ big man out of commission for a while, the presence of Russell Westbrook becomes tantamount, especially against a team starting to rediscover itself.

With all that being said, is Russell Westbrook likely to participate in the contest against LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets?

The Charlotte Hornets have some really bad luck. First Paul George comes back against them, and now Russell Westbrook, along with Austin Reaves don’t see, that far away either.

Simply put, yes, as per ESPN, Russell Westbrook is probable to feature against the Charlotte Hornets tonight.

But, with LaMelo Ball powering the Hornets to being competitive again, this contest won’t be easy.
