“James Harden is really good at basketball”: CJ McCollum sings Houston star’s praises after 44 point night amidst trade rumors
CJ McCollum says James Harden is very good at basketball and doesn’t care about what the Houston guard does in his free time.
The Houston Rockets had their season opener last night against the Portland Trail Blazers after their initial season opener was postponed due to health and safety reasons. According to sources, a staffer on the Rockets had contracted COVID-19.
The Rockets were missing key pieces in their bout against the Blazers. Eric Gordon, John Wall, and Demarcus Cousins all sat out due to COVID-19 concerns. Despite this, the Rockets put up an enthralling fight against CJ McCollum and the Blazers.
The talk of the night has been James Harden’s superb performance amidst the trade rumors, placing him on a multitude of teams. Ironically enough, the Blazers are on Harden supposed list of teams he would like to be traded to.

Harden’s chances of being traded to the Blazers are quite slim. Though Harden has reportedly made it apparent that a trade to Portland would be fine by him, it is the Blazers front office who might be hesitant.
Damian Lillard has poured everything he has into the Blazers. It would be quite a breach of trust if the Blazers trade away teammates of his who he has grown fond of. This would especially be the case if the Blazers include McCollum in the trade. It’s quite well known that CJ and Dame are close friends.
