“James Harden loves Houston strippers”: Former Rockets star spotted liking internet meme suggesting his move to Brooklyn Nets would affect strippers in H-Town
8-time NBA All-Star James Harden likes an Instagram meme on the strippers situation in Houston after moving to Brooklyn.
Yesterday, after months of searching for a suitable trade, a mammoth 4 team trade took place, which sent James Harden to the Nets. Not everyone in Houston was happy about the trade, but there were quite a few memes about who might be the most affected by Harden’s departure.
The trade got Houston Victor Oladipo, Rodions Kurucs, Dante Exum, four unprotected first-round picks (Brooklyn 2022, 2024 and 2026, Milwaukee 2022), and four unprotected first-round pick swaps (2021, 2023, 2025, 2027).
The Indiana Pacers got Caris LeVert and a 2023 second-round pick. The Cleveland Cavaliers got Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince.
While the firepower with the Brooklyn Nets is enough to take any team down, their bench is not as strong anymore. If they manage to use the tax exemption and get an injured player exception on Spencer Dinwiddie, they might be able to secure some role players.
James Harden got what he wanted. After almost 3 months of him asking for a trade, he is finally being traded away, and that too to the place where he wanted to go. The Houston Rockets management took his statement post the Lakers match very seriously and had decided to bench him till they found a trade deal good enough.
James Harden likes a meme about Houston strippers
Former Rockets star James Harden is a well-known patron of a couple of strip clubs in H-Town. He is frequently spotted at them in other cities as well. A rapper by the name of Slim Thug took it to his Instagram to share a meme about Houston strippers being affected by the trade.

The funniest aspect about the same is that James Harden himself liked the said meme.

Hopefully, after getting the trade he wanted, James Harden’s numbers get back to his usual ones. The 3x Scoring Champion started the season strong but was averaging only about 17 points in his last 4-5 games.
With Kyrie Irving’s return still in the dark, it would be interesting to see how the 3 stars get along on the court.
