‘James Harden wants to play with Kevin Durant’: Why Rockets star is contemplating blockbuster Nets trade
ESPN Sources say the Nets are on top of James Harden’s list, in case he decides to leave Houston and demand a trade.
Whenever one thinks about the Houston Rockets, the first image that comes to mind is James Harden dominating the floor. James has been a part of the Rockets since 2012 and is clearly the most important piece of their team. What if he did not wish things to be that way anymore?

ESPN sources report that in case James Harden decides to leave Houston, the Nets are at the top of Harden’s list. This means a potential big 3 formation in Brooklyn.
A James Harden-Kevin Durant reunion is on the cards?
James Harden and Kevin Durant have a lot of history behind them. They both used to be on the Oklahoma City Thunder together from 2009-2012. In that time, the Thunder managed to get to the Finals, just falling short to LeBron James and his Miami Heat. After the 2011-12 season, Harden parted ways with OKC, but stayed good friends with KD all along.
While KD was able to get a couple of rings for himself with the Warriors, Harden is still in search of that elusive NBA Championship.

If Brooklyn does manage to make this trade come through, they would have the tools to dominate the NBA for years to come. A new dynasty would come into existence, with Kyrie, KD and Harden forming a fearful big 3 in Brooklyn.
The biggest question that comes here is what would the Nets have to give up in order to get Harden? Even if Harden comes to the Nets, would the three stars be able to share the ball? What does the inclusion of a dominating guard like James Harden mean to the future of Kyrie Irving?
All of this is still speculation and nothing is certain, but with the amount of smoke rising from Houston, it would be worthwhile to keep an eye there.
