"Kawhi Leonard will duck LeBron James to join the Miami Heat": Stephen A. Smith believes the Clippers superstar will team up with Jimmy Butler instead of joining the Lakers

NBA fans immediately start roasting Kawhi Leonard as they spot the Clippers star watching Game 3 of the WCF from a suite instead of the team bench.

Throughout the regular and postseason, the Los Angeles Clippers have proven to be a legit title-contending team. With new acquisitions like Nicolas Batum, Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins, the team looks to be more complete and better.

As the Clippers have been doing the entire 2021 playoffs, after being down 2-0 against the Phoenix Suns, LAC managed to win big in Game 3 of the WCF.

In a huge 106-92 win, it was Paul George who spoilt Chris Paul’s return. The Clippers star dropped a 27-point, 15-rebounds and 8-assists near triple-double, to eclipse CP3’s 15 points and 12 assists double-double outing.

What was even more impressive, Ty Lue’s Clippers team managed to clinch a much-required win, in the absence of their star Kawhi Leonard. Rather, the Los Angeles Clippers was deprived of an injured Kawhi’s presence on their team bench too.

If we have learnt anything from the Clippers’ last two playoffs series, it’s that, repeatedly LAC has been down 2-0 and ended up upsetting their opponents. The Phoenix Suns would be well-aware of this fact and would do everything they can to close the series as soon as possible.

The Clippers haven’t lost even one of their last five home games and would hope to maintain that record. Definitely, even with Kawhi sitting out with injuries, this series has been one action-packed thriller.
