"Kendrick Perkins went 1v1 against Moses Moody's name and lost 11-0": NBA Twitter clowns Big Perk for ‘'Mody Moose' flub on Draft night

Kendrick Perkins hilariously mispronounces Moses Moody’s name a bunch of times before he’s corrected during Draft Night 2021

With the 14th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected Moses Moody.

For those that don’t know, the 19-year-old is a 6’5” wing player with a 7’1” wingspan, with all the tools to be a versatile 3-and-D player in the NBA.

Many were expecting the Warriors to trade their two lottery picks, and frankly, we were too, so this came as a bit of a surprise. It seems that the franchise is trying to take possibly the riskiest route, in trying to combine the future with a win-now mentality. Needless to say, this experiment will be a fun one to watch.

But, that isn’t what we’re here to discuss. No, no, no sir, we are here to discuss one, Mr. Kendrick Perkins, and his incredible blunder on live television.

So, without further ado, let’s get into it.

Kendrick Perkins managed to flub Moses Moody’s name at least 5 times before saying it right on national television

Man do we love us some Kendrick Perkins.

He may not be the best analyst on the planet by any means. However, the passion, the drive, and the sincerity of his takes can never stop being funny to the NBA community. And recently, he even went above and beyond his usual form of comedy. Take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

A fan actually managed to transcribe what Big Perk said. And well… here it is.

As a writer from India, I personally do appreciate the little shoutout our Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given by the NBA champion. And frankly, we all can’t wait for the next little moment of pure comedy from Kendrick Perkins.
