The Brooklyn Nets have not had a good past few days. Ever since they made their way to Milwaukee, they were 0-2, and they lost Kyrie Irving to an ankle sprain. The Nets had already lost James Harden in Game 1 of the series with a hamstring injury. There were a lot of questions raised on Kevin Durant and his ability to carry the team, without the presence of his All-Star teammates.
KD came out tonight with a mission to silence all the doubters. He played all 48 minutes in the game and led his team to a 114-108 win. Durant recorded a triple-double, scoring 49 points, grabbing 17 rebounds, and dishing 10 assists. It was a playoff performance for the ages. James Harden made his way back to the court. He played 46 minutes, scored 5 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished 8 assists.
Skip Bayless could not stop praising Kevin Durant
It is no secret that Skip Bayless is not a LeBron James fan. In his attempt to undermine LBJ, he has always sided with teams that can take down the King’s teams. This season, he has been siding with the Nets and the Clippers. After the game, Skip was above and beyond with admiration for the Nets’ superstar.
Skip praised Kevin Durant, while also taking a shot at LeBron James, with his ‘phony GOAT’ remark.
Kevin Durant just proved once and for all he’s The Best Player on the Planet. Nothing like him, including the Phony GOAT. I cannot wait for tomorrow’s Undisputed.

He also made another tweet that was less discrete than this one. There he just says that KD is better than LeBron but in a rather straightforward manner.

The Nets managed to keep the Bucks at bay for Game 5. However, Game 6 would be different. Back in Milwaukee, the Bucks would work ways to stop Kevin Durant. The Nets would need to find more ways to score and rely on Kevin Durant alone. Game 6 takes place on Thursday.
