It feels as though the greater you are as a player, the more nicknames you have bestowed upon you. When it comes to Kevin Durant, there’s perhaps no greater offensive threat than him in the history of the NBA. David Letterman’s one-on-one with Kevin Durant on his Netflix sit-down show came to be from an incredibly hilarious and wholesome interaction the two had prior. Letterman was at one of Durant’s press conferences some time back and he would ask the ‘astute’ question of why he was being called ‘KD’.
Kevin so graciously gave him the obvious answer and David noted down his answer. Of course, this was all satire but some folks on the internet, for whatever reason, couldn’t tell that the man asking the question was the David Letterman and that he was kidding around.
