'Kyrie Irving was partying in Brooklyn, not Toronto': NBA Insider presents the case for Nets star being in New York with Drake

A Twitter handle named Sherwob Holmes has presented some compelling evidence for Kyrie Irving to be partying with Drake in Brooklyn.

A rumor began circulating in the early hours of Tuesday on Twitter and Reddit. It was concerning Kyrie Irving. The source claimed that Irving had been spotted at a birthday bash for his sister Asia in Toronto. It was claimed in the post that Drake was also present at the ceremony.

This guy named Sherwob has garnered a great following on Twitter with his basketball posts. He tweets with great regularity, and gets onto the back of trends pretty quickly. A follower count of 642k is nothing to scoff at.

Irving has missed the last 3 games citing ‘personal reasons’, and is due to miss a fourth against the Denver Nuggets tonight. It is high time that somebody gave an explanation of when he’s coming back, if at all he is.

Kyrie Irving was apparently in Brooklyn, not Toronto

The league has opened investigations into the video, but Sherwob has one of his own to show. In his video breakdown of the short Kyrie clip that’s now everywhere, Sherwob deduces the location neatly.

Sherwob combed through Kyrie’s mentions of nice clubs on Twitter, and he checked out pictures of one particular place: 4Sixty6.

The case seems cut and dried when we look at it through the prism of the video. There is, nevertheless, the off chance that it may have been doctored. But at a cursory glance, no such shenanigans seem to have taken place. Kyrie seems doomed to be fined by the league for every game he misses.
