Kyrie Irving will be hating James Harden in one game': Skip Bayless

Skip Bayless doesn’t particularly like James Harden on the Brooklyn Nets, as he let us know in yesterday’s segment of Undisputed.

James Harden has been the subject of heavy trade speculation over the last few days. This is after news emerged of the 2018 NBA MVP wanting a trade away from Houston. Harden has been the focal point of the Rockets offense for 8 years, but now feels it’s time to move on.

There are a number of caveats attached to the idea of the Nets trading for him. They will most definitely have to pay a king’s ransom to land the 3-time scoring champion. There are issues regarding fit as well here.

Skip Bayless has no faith in Kyrie Irving’s ability to mesh with James Harden

Over the last 3 years, Kyrie Irving has gained a reputation as a diva following his successful trade demand to get away from Cleveland. The point guard has flourished on an individual level since then, but has little team success to show for it. Many believe Irving is an anchor and the Celtics’ locker room issues last season reflected this.

Skip Bayless has never had much faith in James Harden either. Even during the 2018 season, which was his best on a team scale, Bayless was a detractor of the Rockets guard. According to him, Harden and Irving are not good fits with each other at all.

Landing The Beard will cost the Nets a ton of picks and gut their roster depth irrevocably. This is something Bayless has a lot of concerns about. The Nets should be worried about it as well, since one of their biggest strengths this past season was the next-man-up mentality they had.

This trade saga is poised to be the highlight of this offseason.
