The Lakers’ big man Anthony Davis was caught clipping his toe-nails during the preseason games vs the Suns

The Los Angeles Lakers faced Phoenix Suns for their final preseason game. The Lakers edged a 114-113 over the Suns. The Lakers finished their preseason strong 4-0. Even though their stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis sat out the first two games, the Lakers managed to beat the Clippers then.

AD had a low-key outing in their first game against the Suns scoring 10 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. He made up for it with a monster 35 points, 6 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and had 3 blocks in his 30 minutes of action.

Anthony Davis spotted clipping nails during the match

During the second quarter of the match, Anthony Davis was spotted on the bench, clipping his toe-nails. It’s definitely not an ordinary practice to be doing nailcare in the middle of an NBA game.

Before Anthony Davis cut his nails, he was having a sloppy first half. Maybe something about his nails was bothering him. Shoes bothering players because of overgrown nails is something that’s been known to happen.

However it may have been, he definitely made hay in the second half with short toenails, putting the Suns defense to the sword. Finishing with 35 points in 30 minutes of action was a neat return.

The Lakers play now play the Clippers next on opening day, at 10 PM ET.
