The Warriors hadn’t lost a Western Conference Series since Steve Kerr took over in 2015. They were 19-0 in that time frame. The Warriors had not lost a single series where Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green started every game, and the Dubs had won a road game in 28 straight series. Seeing the Lakers beat the defending champions, their fans had a good time mocking Stephen Curry with his own iconic celebration.

Ever since the Bubble Playoffs, the Lakers had been a terrible team. Despite the personnel changes, the team never seemed to improve. However, this trade deadline, they made some big changes, and the team completely turned around. LeBron James and co. have the best defense in these playoffs. Tonight they used the same to eliminate the defending champions and the fans loved every moment of the same.

During last year’s playoffs, Stephen Curry broke out the ‘night-night’ celebration as he put his opponents to sleep. It became viral, and people all across the globe were imitating the same.

Tonight, as the Lakers pulled the curtain on the Warriors’ season, the fans at Crypto.Com arena thought it was only fair they reciprocate the favor.

Even Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless, who is a known LeBron hater, took it to Twitter to troll the defending champions.

Despite all that happened, Draymond Green was seen laughing around with LeBron James. That raised quite a few eyebrows. Draymond and the Warriors did not agree to an extension last season, and now he has a player option on his contract next season.
