“Draymond Green Was Laughing, Hugging LeBron James”: Fans Furious As Stephen Curry Cut A Sorry Figure After Warriors Loss Vs Lakers

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have done what seemed to be the impossible and defeated a Steve Kerr coached Golden State Warriors squad before they reach the NBA Finals. After dropping Game 5 in Chase Center, the purple and gold waltzed into a 20+ point victory over the defending champions but not without Draymond Green showing love to his close friend off the court, LeBron James.

It’s very well known among NBA circles that Draymond and ‘The King’ have a very tight knit relationship with one another. They were at each other’s weddings and the former Defensive Player of the Year asked the Warriors front office if he could attend the Lakers-Thunder game to watch James break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s regular season scoring record.

Now, with the Warriors dynasty hanging by a thread given this loss, Green has been crucified by NBA fans for buddying up with the leader of the opposing squad.

Draymond Green daps up LeBron James while Stephen Curry and crew remain despondent

It was clear through most of the 4^th quarter that the Lakers were going to hold onto their lead if not add to it. As Steve Kerr cleared his bench with about 4 minutes left in the game, Stephen Curry’s disappointment was shown on screen as he put a towel on his head leaned back on the bench.

After the game had ended, most of the Warriors players were still on the bench except for Draymond Green. Green immediately crossed halfcourt to hug and dap up LeBron James. This rubbed Warriors fans the wrong way as despite the relationship he shares with James, being that jovial during a loss of this magnitude isn’t ideal for the most part.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson on the other hand, were clearly despondent and felt the weight of the series that had just transpired. While they have been incredibly successful over the past decade or so, any loss prior to at the very least making the Finals will sting given just how much they’ve achieved together and the standard that they hold each other to.

LeBron James and Draymond Green recently partied at the Oscars together

LeBron James and Draymond green hang out with one another quite often on the court. Whether it’s at each other’s homes or at events, the two are usually in close proximity to one another. The fact that they play for two teams in California also helps them see other more often.

Most recently, the two frontcourt stars were seen partying at the Oscars in March of this year with their wives in attendance as well. They took to social media to flex their fits while at the party as well during the same time LeBron was dealing with an injury that kept him out of games.
