LeBron James is a player like none other before him. This season has essentially separated him from every athlete and made him one of a kind. After all, in the history of the sport, no one has been as dominant as him at 38. His age is looking like a random number with no significance to LBJ’s career.

The athleticism and the explosiveness he has been showing today are not that different than when he was just 20. LeBron is still the same menace with incredible shot-making abilities.
His numbers this season and the ageless showcase of athleticism have made him the most-voted star for the 2023 All-Star game. He is tailed by only Kevin Durant who is also leading his conference in the votes received. This basically means that LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s berth in the All-Star is all but confirmed.
If LeBron stays healthy until the All-Star weekend, he will essentially appear in his 19th All-Star game. In anticipation of that, we will attempt to break down his stats in his 18 previous appearances.
Taking a look at LeBron James in his 18 All-Star appearances
LeBron’s first All-Star appearance was in 2005. Just in his second season, the highly anticipated talented laced up to play with some incredible names. He registered just 13 points in 31 minutes. But since then, LeBron James became one of the best scorers whenever he played a game alongside other superstars.
His best scoring performance in an All-Star game came in 2012. James, while representing the Eastern Conference, appeared alongside Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, and Dwight Howard. James dropped 36 points in just 32 minutes and made 6 of his 8 threes. Though the East lost to the West, 6ft 9″ LeBron was undeniably great.
In 2011, LeBron again set a personal record by registering the first triple-double in his All-Star career. While representing the Eastern Conference, he managed to drop 29 points. In addition, LBJ gathered 12 rebounds and dished out 10 assists.
In his 18 appearances, King James averaged 22.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. Impressive considering players get only limited minutes regardless of their status.
LeBron received the most votes for the 2023 All-Stars game
Up till now, LeBron James is leading the All-Star voting ballet. He has received 3.168 million votes. If the voting pattern stays, LeBron will most likely be a starter for the Western Conference during the weekend in February.
