“LeBron James and I are not vaccinated yet”: Dennis Schroder seems to admit the Lakers star is yet to receive Covid-19 vaccines
Dennis Schroder seems to unwittingly have put LeBron James on the spot here. The German guard said the duo are the only Lakers not vaccinated.
Covid-19 vaccination is an issue that the entire world is taking very seriously. This pandemic has affected the lives of people across the world over the past 18 months. Over 3.2 million people have officially lost their lives to this deadly virus.
Many myths about Covid-19 are being propagated by a significant faction of people. Misinformation and fake news are easier to get to people than ever before. Consequentially, anti-vaccine sentiments have reared their ugly heads in the UK and across Europe.
On the other hand, the USA has administered vaccine doses to 44% of its population. 31.9% of them have received both shots of either the Moderna or the Pfizer vaccine. There is no news of vaccine-related deaths anywhere, so it’s most likely a safe health measure to take.
Dennis Schroder goes into Covid protocol after snitching on LeBron James
LeBron James and Dennis Schroder are still to get it despite the vaccination drive long being open to the general public. Schroder is now missing time due to Covid protocols and will severely impact the Lakers’ home run:
“Nearly the whole team is vaccinated – only LeBron and I are not, I think. I can’t go into quarantine again, if that happens now, I‘ll miss a whole round in the playoffs. I can’t live with that.”
Translation from a German article with an Interview with Dennis Schröder:

The irony of those words can’t be expressed in mere words. There is nothing more stupid than admitting that the whole team has a good reason, but Schroder and LeBron have some superior logic because of which they’re not taking the vaccine.
The Lakers are now staring down the barrel of the prospect of a play-in game. Their next 5 games are against the Clippers, Denver, Portland, Phoenix and New York. It’s hard to see them winning a single game out of these without a point guard on their roster.
