"LeBron James boarded the flight to Phoenix": Lakers superstar to accompany the team for their next game despite sustaining high ankle sprain

Lakers’ superstar LeBron James surprises everyone as he boards the team’s flight to Phoenix, despite suffering an ankle injury.

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a tremendous blow in their 99-94 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. More than the game, losing LeBron James would have hurt the Lakers much more.

LeBron had a quick 10 points in 11 minutes before he had to leave the game due to pain. He got injured while a Hawks’ Soloman Hill attempted to steal the ball from him.

After the game, it was shared the LBJ’s x-ray turned to be negative, but his MRI revealed that it is a high-ankle sprain.

It was still an ugly incident to look at, and the injury will likely rule LeBron James out of action for 4 weeks or so. Coupled with the AD injury, this lands a double whammy to the Lakers’ odds at the top seed.

LeBron James boards flight to Pheonix, despite injury

In most cases, when a player gets diagnosed with an injury that has them ruled out for some time, they usually stay home. However, in a surprising move, LeBron James accompanied the Lakers on their flight to Phoenix.

Perhaps the King accompanied the team for being a sound voice off the bench. LBJ has been known to make players around him better. He would hope his presence, even off the bench, may help his team take on the feisty Suns.

Things suddenly became a lot more difficult for the defending champions. They have already been off their game ever since Anthony Davis has been out due to injury.

Now to play without Anthony Davis and LeBron James, for the foreseeable future, would be a tough challenge for the rest of the Lakers players.
