Colby Covington goes after LeBron James once more as he calls out the Nike sweatshops in China and claims LeBron does not stand for equality.
With fame, come the nay-sayers. LeBron James has been dealing with ‘haters’ for over 2 decades now as he has been in the public light ever since his high school days in the early 2000s. After being brandished as the ‘Chosen One’, James had a lot to live up to and with expectations, came doubters. It’s safe to say that 18 years later and he has proven them wrong.

However, there are a few individuals who, quite honestly, do not care for what LeBron James does on the court. ‘Analysts’ such as Skip Bayless pride themselves over calling out the 4x champ for not living up to the ‘Ghost in Chicago’ but others seem to be irked by the way he handles himself off the court.
MMA fighter, Colby Covington, has put James between his crosshairs on numerous occasions. Last year, around the Western Conference Finals against the Nuggets, Covington called LeBron a ‘spineless coward’ and took to Twitter to say he wouldn’t last a second in the octagon with him.
LOL at the snowflakes that believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me! If that coward had the balls or the ability to kick anyone’s ass, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit! pic.twitter.com/TQZ56FBnt1

LeBron James gets called out by Colby Covington for not standing up for women’s equality.
Covington has picked up right where he left off back in September of 2020 as he, once again, calls out LeBron James for not sticking to the morals he preaches. This time around, he claims that James is not doing anything about the women workers in Chinese sweatshops for Nike.
“Just a big hypocrite. He talks about his two biggest things he loves: equality and justice. Where’s the equality in employing women in Chinese sweatshops to make your merchandise for millions and millions of dollars while they’re making pennies?”
“Where’s the justice in critiquing the greatest country on God’s green Earth, America, but not talking about Hong Kong, not talking about the Uyghurs in China. He stays silent on everything in China because he’s a Chinese puppet master.”
When Covington called out LeBron James last year, the ‘King’ actually responded to him. “Anybody can talk from outside but if they got into the ring or got into the arena, probably 10 times out of 10, they’d sh-t their pants.”
It’ll be interesting to see if LeBron James follows suit and responds to yet another direct attack sent his way from the mixed martial artist.
