“LeBron James is an incredible husband and all-around great guy”: Stephen A. Smith scoffs at the idea of the Lakers MVP being underappreciated
Stephen A. Smith firmly believes Lakers star LeBron James receives an ample amount of love and is in no way, underappreciated.
As polarizing of a character LeBron James can be, there’s no doubt in everybody’s mind that the reigning Finals MVP is as accomplished of an athlete as anyone can be. Ever since he stepped foot on NBA hardwood, it was clear that he would develop into a superstar in little to now time.
While his basketball career is the stuff of legend, his off-court activities are equally as impressive and thus, should be lauded for. Everything ranging from being a model parent to his 3 children to giving back to the country through various charity work and of course, his ‘I Promise’ school in Cleveland, Ohio.
Despite the greatness he’s displayed on and off the court, there are a bevy of trolls who look to put LeBron James down any chance they get; criticizing James on any missteps. Whether it’s a lackluster performance in a game or his stance on political issues, James is sure to put a divide between certain communities across the world.
Stephen A. Smith says LeBron James is nowhere close to being underappreciated.
LeBron James’s public perception varies quite literally on a day-to-day basis. Due to a large chunk of people having a negative perception of the 4x champ, it seems as though he’s being underappreciated. Stephen A. Smith is here for none of it as he scoffs at the notion that the philanthropic LeBron James is anything but an ‘all-around good guy’.
Are y’all really kidding me here. @KingJames is UNDERappreciated? In what works???? pic.twitter.com/vq1LUdg9rL

Regardless of what you believe to be true about LeBron, what Stephen A said about the former here was more or less accurate. He’s one of the greatest basketball players of all time, is a model husband and father, indulges in philanthropic activities, has cemented himself in Hollywood, and has never been a part of a ‘scandal’ of sorts.
Sure, he may make some questionable decisions like to party with Drake amidst a pandemic a day before his play-in tournament game against Steph Curry and the Warriors, but knowing James, he won’t be placed in health and safety protocols.
