With the rivalry between the LA teams bigger and better than ever, several fans have been talking about the possibilities of the rival players snitching on the hotline. While this may seem a step too far, Doc Rivers’ statement has stirred the plot in an albeit humorous manner.

Rivers also went onto say that he would keep doing this until the Clippers are the only team left in the Bubble. Quite an interestic ploy to secure that elusive NBA title.

Doc also mentioned about snitching on Gregg Popovich, who is one of the greatest coaches in the history of American sports. The NBA has put strict rules in place to curb the influence of the coronavirus. However, its decision to start an anonymous hotline number has led to chatter around the league. Several players have spoken out on the decision.

Meanwhile, every snitching conversation has had a similar end with several users targeting Thunders’ guard Chris Paul. The multi-time all-star had snitched about Jordan Bell in December. His snitching led to the Thunders getting a free throw and ultimately dragging the game into extra time.

What’s next for the Lakers and Clippers?

The two behemoths will tip-off the league on July 30. The Clippers trail the Lakers by 5.5 games and might have to settle for the number 2 seed this season. The Clippers lead the Lakers 2-1 this season but the LeBron led side hammered them in their recent meeting with the 3-time NBA champion leading from the front.

Why Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers are one of the favorites to win the NBA title?

Clippers have been managing the workload of their biggest stars to keep them fresh for the playoffs. However the lock down has thrown a spanner into their plans. Now the Clippers face the issue of not settling on a starting lineup.

The franchise stars of both the sides are chasing history. If either of the two sides win the championship, Lebron or Kawhi will become the first player to win the championship with three different teams.

Lebron has won 3 championships in his storied career. The King won 2 with Miami Heat and came back to his homeland Cleveland to win his 3rd title in a memorable finale. Kawhi has won one title with the Spurs in 2014 and ended the dominance of the Warriors last year. The Claw won the title with the Raptors last year.
