LeBron James Spooks Social Media By Recalling Every Lakers Missed Shot During Stephen Curry and Co.’s 14-0 Run

The Los Angeles Lakers played pretty impressive basketball for the entirety of Game 1 against their clash against the Golden State Warriors. However, late in the final period of the clash, Steve Kerr’s boys brought back the Chase Center from the dead after going on a 14-0 run. While Vanderbilt’s absence during that 4-minute span allowed Stephen Curry to lead the GSW to tie the game at 112 apiece, LeBron James recalled all the offensive mistakes the team made during the run.

Unlike the rest of the game, nothing went in Purple & Gold’s favor during the crucial phase of the contest. While the Warriors were ripping apart LAL’s defense, the California-based franchise’s offense was also embarrassing.

However, Darvin Ham’s boys survived the Warriors’ valiant efforts to mount the comeback. In the postgame interview, when asked about his opinions on the run, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer recalled every single shot that the Lakers missed during the span.

NBA Reddit & Twitter reacts as LBJ perfectly recalls all missed shots during GSW’s 14-0 run

The 6-foot-9 star forward mentioned all the shots missed by Austin Reaves, himself, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell, displaying his eidetic memory.

“AR had a shot from the left wing, missed it. I had a fadeaway jumper in the paint, missed it. I was able to get AD on the cut, one of his patent jump hooks, he missed it. Got the offensive rebound, missed it again. And then they lost it around their sideline, gave us another extra possession. D’Lo had a wide open 3 opposite of their bench.”

As soon as the clip went viral on social media, NBA Reddit & Twitter were left impressed.

Previous instances when LeBron James has perfectly recalled plays

This virtue of the King recalling every play perfectly is abnormal and a part of why he’s so successful. However, this is not the first time the 4-time Most Valuable Player has displayed his court awareness and high basketball IQ.

Over the course of his 20-year-long career, there have been various instances when the 19-time All-Star has left everyone in awe of his photographic memory.

Here are a few of them.

There’s even a clip of Iman Shumpert exclaiming how impressive it is that the future first-ballot Hall-Of-Famer remembers every play by every player.

A true sign of greatness – an incredible player on the court as well as a sincere student of the game off the court.
