"I just want to be myself": Kyle Kuzma fires shots at LeBron James and the Lakers while describing what he looks forward to in Washington

LeBron James sends one last gives Kyle Kuzma’s way after the Lakers send him to the Washington Wizards

When the NBA community heard about the Russell Westbrook trade, they were in awe of LeBron James and the Lakers. But, many even felt a bit sorry for Kyle Kuzma who was going the other way to Washington.

Most fans, including us, believed that this would fray the relationship between the Kind and the young power forward. And with the now Wizards star recently tweeting about Kobe Bryant as the GOAT over James, this theory only seemed more and more accurate.

However, since then, it seems some new information has arisen. And it could perhaps throw all of our theories straight out of the window.

Let’s get into it.

LeBron James and Jared Dudley throw Kyle Kuzma a going away party

We’re going to be totally honest here. Before this information was revealed, we doubted that the two player would even be on talking terms. In fact, most of the NBA community assumed the exact same thing. But well, it seems both LeBron James and Jared Dudley are far better people than what any of us gave them credit for.

Take a look at the tweet below.

We won’t lie, the lack of Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who have also been traded, could mean something here. As far as Kyle Kuzma is concerned though, it seems they’re cool.

Still this doesn’t mean a revenge season is not on the horizon. At the end of the day, Kuzma has been limited by the Lakers abundance of stars quite a bit so far.

After a change in scenery, and an actual established role, we genuinely believe the star can surprise many in the NBA community. And so, our suggestion is, keep an eye on the Wizards star during next season.
