Wizards star Kyle Kuzma no longer backs LeBron James in the GOAT debate after being packaged away to Washington

 

We can’t imagine the relationship between Kyle Kuzma and LeBron James is at a very good place right now.

Back in the days before Anthony Davis, the King had a very close bond with the young player. He was a mentor and backed him completely, even when his performances took a dip after the AD acquisition.

But, it just seemed that, after a point, all that patience ran out. Despite not giving Kuzma a consistent role with the team, everyone expected him to perform at a high level. And of course, as we all know by now, those conditions just seemed too difficult to let the player stand up to those expectations.

After how everything has gone, it would frankly be justified for him to not be the biggest fan of LeBron James anymore. And, if Kyle Kuzma’s recent tweet is to be analyzed, perhaps that is exactly what has happened.

“Greatest ever, no question”: Kyle Kuzma calls Kobe Bryant the GOAT, despite backing LeBron James before

Yeah, things can change pretty quickly in the NBA.

After being traded, the star put up a tweet, paying his respects to Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant. Take a look at it below.

At first, fans didn’t notice anything wrong. But then, just about everyone realized what his verdict on the matter was before. Just one example is his interview with ‘Hoops on Fox’ during the 2018 NBA Finals. When he was asked to pick a winner between the Warriors and the Cavaliers at the time, this is what he had to say.

“Um… Golden State. It’s tough. It’ll be interesting. I want to see how they do against Houston. I think Houston’s had a phenomenal season. Bron is Bron. I’m never going to count him out because he’s the greatest player of this generation. No question. … It’s hard to go against Kobe but, I mean, he’s been to the Finals seven straight times.”

And just adding to the fire, here is a tweet from 2019.

His change of opinion makes it obvious he is far from happy about this whole situation.

A revenge season could be on the horizon. And, if that’s what the future holds, we can’t wait to see it.
