‘Like Michael Jordan? Luka Doncic is one of the worst defenders’: Skip Bayless dismisses LeBron James for comparing himself with the GOAT
Skip Bayless responded to LeBron James calling himself ‘King Me’ for a fadeaway over Luka Doncic with some scathing comments.
LeBron had a somewhat up-and-down game against the Mavericks on Christmas Day. He shot an airball on a free throw attempt, and toyed with a floater from the 3-point line that was way off. It wasn’t his most efficient night as James finished 8-of-18 from the field.
James did have a moment of note on offense, however. He got the ball on the low post on the right side, faked Luka and shot a one-legged fadeaway over the 21-year-old. His shot swished like butter through the net.
Given that the Lakers were powered by AD and Harrell to a blowout win, James wouldn’t concern himself too much with this outing.
Skip Bayless loses his mind over LeBron James comparing his fadeaway to Michael Jordan
James made an Instagram post of his shot over Doncic with the hashtags ‘King Me’ and ‘The kid from Akron’. He compared his footwork with that of the King of Pop – Michael Jackson.

Skip was having none of this, saying he didn’t care much for James’ fadeaway since it was over a ‘weak defender’ in Luka Doncic.
“Just saw an IG video post from LeBron saying his footwork on a fadeaway was “like Mike” & “poetry in motion.” He made that shot on Luka Doncic, one of the NBA’s worst defenders. How do you Blind Witnesses let him get away w this?”

On a night when Skip’s Clippers suffered the worst loss in franchise history, this just seems like an attempt to steer the limelight away from them.
