Luka and Giannis go at it
Young superstars Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo went to battle as the Mavs took on the Bucks. However the Mavs guard shone better than the reigning MVP as Luka put an exclamation mark with that assist in overtime to bag a victory.
Luka Doncic put up a triple-double as he managed stats of 36 points, 14 rebounds and a whooping 19 assists in 42 minutes. Giannis managed a double-double with 34 points and 13 rebounds as he could not prevent the Mavs from running out with a victory late into overtime.
Giannis largely struggled from the free-throw line and with 3 point shooting too. On an off night for the reigning MVP, Donic for sure sent out a message to the league. At 21, Luka is surely a future MVP candidate and should in all probability win the ‘most improved player’ award this season.
