Marcus Jordan Once Beat his Father Michael Jordan in “CUTTHROAT”, a 1v1 Basketball Game
Marcus Jordan is a name that has been doing the rounds on the internet for the last few weeks and for all the wrong reasons. Today, we shift our focus to the right one. A story of how young Marcus beat his dad who is none other than, Michael Jordan, in a game of basketball no less!
Yes, we are as confused as you are. A guy who never made it to the NBA claims to have beaten his dad, who is arguably the greatest player of all time.
And, of course, there is the matter of age, being Marcus’ dad, and other reasons but this is MJ we’re talking about. A ruthless competitor.
But Marcus beat him. Or so he says.
Marcus Jordan never made it to the NBA but he did beat his dad, Michael Jordan
Marcus is asked in a TMZ interview whether he has ever played his dad in a game of basketball and he recalls the time he played a 1v1 game called “1 on 1 CUTTHROAT”.
It’s a modified version of 1v1 and we don’t expect anything less from MJ. Marcus says, he did manage to snatch victory, but only for a brief moment. “I had a quick victory“, he says.
“And then he ran it right back, and he obviously won on me” Marcus adds. We expect nothing less from MJ, even after his retirement.
What is the latest on Marcus and Michael?
Marcus is now in the news for dating Larsa Pippen, if you think that name sounds familiar, it is because Larsa is Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife. Scottie was a teammate of Michael Jordan.
And naturally, the world focused its gaze on the subject. We don’t condone the relationship but it is rather unnatural that they would be going out with each other.
Michael has declined to comment on the matter and there is no word on whether the relationship is serious or not. Young Marcus might not be so young anymore. And as far as we know, Larsa thinks so too.
