Steve Kerr neglected to mention his former star Kevin Durant on a list of untradable stars, and Rich Kleiman is not having it.

The Golden State Warriors lost a hard-fought game to Boston tonight. Stephen Curry took his streak of consecutive 30-point games to 10, netting 47 points with 11 3-pointers.
Despite Steph and Wiggins’ best efforts, the Celtics held their nerve better down the stretch of the game. They went from a 109-103 deficit to take the game 119-114 with a stupendous effort. Jayson Tatum dueled with Steph, making 16 of his 25 shots for 44 points on the night.
Steve Kerr causes a slight uproar by not naming KD to his list of ‘untradable’ stars
In an interview with Nick Friedell recently, Steve Kerr was asked whether the Warriors had explored trades to support Steph. Kerr seemed to indicate that they had indeed explored a few options:
“How many players are truly untouchable in the NBA? LeBron James] Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo? That’s about it. Everybody is tradable.”
The topic of conversation, as you can see, was not regarding Kevin Durant. But there is always a faction of people ready to hang onto coaches’ every single word. Unfortunately, it’s now starting to become a trend among NBA fans who’re perpetually online.
Matt Barnes, Rich Kleiman question Steve Kerr for not naming Kevin Durant as an untradable asset
Former Warrior Matt Barnes and Durant’s agent Rich Kleiman seem to have caught wind of Kerr’s comments. Despite being well-versed with coach Kerr’s ways and the context, both decided to question his casually compiled list.
Barnes added 2 comments on a Clutch Points post. He praised KD on both occasions, elevating him to untradable status. He first replied ‘Might wanna add KD to the list’. Barnes then shot back at another commenter, saying ‘anyone who doesn’t understand this doesn’t need to be talking about basketball’.
Kevin Durant’s business partner Rich Kleiman reacts to Steve Kerr leaving off KD from the truly untouchable NBA list that included:
• LeBron
• Steph Curry
• Giannis pic.twitter.com/Tfo3HlMTjZ— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPointsApp) April 18, 2021
Once Kleiman saw this list, he was also inclined to pass a passive-aggressive comment with a couple of emojis. The intentions of KD’s agent is absolutely clear – he wishes to present the rift between Durant and the Warriors as real.
