Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the NBA. But, even the Slim Reaper isn’t without his flaws. KD is known for having a penchant for interacting with fans and followers via social media. And, with the whole of the United States of America celebrating the 4th of July, the two-time NBA Champion decided to indulge himself by trolling fans on Twitter. Just days after he was called out for his explosive exchange with podcaster Jason McIntyre.

Durant has gained a reputation for himself over the years as a player with thin skin. It doesn’t take much to offend KD, and toxicity is something that is rampant on social media. Thus, making it the worst place for a player of his caliber to thrive. But, that hasn’t stopped the 2014 MVP, who has even used burner accounts to respond to fans on several occasions. And, this recent incident just shows how he is now viewed by the public.

In recent times, Kevin Durant has come under a lot of criticism for his questionable social media activity. Unlike most celebrities, KD is known for being quite interactive on social media. He does not shy away from jawing with fans, followers, and haters alike.

Recently, Durant was at it again, and this time, with no real cause. The Phoenix Suns star woke up today, the 4th of July looking to start a war. And, that he got when he tweeted out that Brooklyn Nets fans are obsessed with him. A tweet that as he probably hoped got quite a few responses.

Perhaps the worst of the responses among several of them came from Twitter user @‌ChaIIIls, who went so far as to call Durant “the most egotistical narcissistic bozo of all time”. However, this surprisingly didn’t affect KD, who came up with a witty and humorous comeback.

Durant clearly has the ability to get on people’s nerves. But, that being said there have been times when even he has blown his top on social media.

While Kevin Durant did have a slick response this time around, there are times when even he has messed up. Case in point, recently when he had an explosive exchange with Fox sports host and podcaster Jason McIntyre. McIntyre called out KD for his excessive use of social media and how he squabbles with users online.

This angered the Slim Reaper who went on a rant, calling McIntyre several unsavory names including and not limited to “broke boy”.

It’s always fun to have the chance to interact with your favorite athletes. But, Durant takes things to a whole new level. To the point, where no one is safe from his wrath.
