Deion Sanders’ life lesson for Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard, a dominant figure on the hardwood, is now making waves in a different arena. Through a vivid Instagram post, he unveiled his expansive 700-acre farm, a testament to his commitment to sustainable living and agricultural education. Additionally, in the background, the ‘Ol’ McDonald’ nursery rhyme provided a unique soundtrack to this unexpected revelation. 

Sanders, recognizing the significance of this endeavor, responded with wisdom and encouragement.

Howard’s heartfelt message accompanying the post underlines his mission: 

“Can’t wait to share how I’m going to use my 700 acre farm to feed families across the world, promote clean eating, and provide programs to teach people about farming and being resourceful. ❤️ We will become healthier as a people once more of us know how to grow our own food, eat from the land, and live off the land.”

Deion Sanders, clearly moved by Howard’s dedication, expressed his support, stating:

Warriors will not sign Howard

Despite Howard’s remarkable off-court endeavors, the Golden State Warriors have definitively stated that they will not be bringing him back into the fold. 

Additionally, speaking about this, Warriors President Mike Dunleavy asserted: 

“I’d just say in general, we brought maybe 40 or 50 guys in this summer to get a further look at, knowing agents and people around the league knowing we’ve got two roster spots open, so there is a desire to come in, meet with us and play with our guys… And we’ve looked at a lot of different players. Some of them we’re bring into camp. But the [Howard] is just one of many that we brought in and evaluated, and you know, I think right now you’ll know more about who we’re inviting to camp in a couple of days. But overall, we feel good about what we’ve done this summer and we’ll keep our options open in terms of who we need to add.”

While there were speculations about a potential return to the Warriors for Howard, currently plying his trade in Taiwan, those discussions have been laid to rest.
