"My stomach is gonna fall out my a**": Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler had a hilarious reaction when he sat in a car alongside F1 driver Lando Norris

Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler had a hilarious reaction back in 2019 when he sat in a car alongside F1 star driver Lando Norris.

Jimmy Butler is considered to be one of the hardest workers in the whole league. The determination and grit that Butler plays with us second to none. Jimmy even had an improbable Cinderella run to the NBA Finals last year, displaying the heart he plays basketball with.

The 6-foot-7 forward has easily one of the most inspiring stories in basketball history. Considering how Jimmy Buckets made the league despite all odds against him is truly commendable. As he was brought up with a difficult childhood, Butler is tough, physically and mentally.

There has never been a moment when the 5-time All-Star backed down from a challenge. However, just like any other human, Butler too has a fear. Believe it or not, Jimmy Butler is clearly scared of travelling in a fast car.

Jimmy Butler had a fearsome moment when F1 driver Lando Norris sped around the track

Formula 1 is top-speed motorsport with a lot of quick reflexes and cars speeding over 300 km/hr. Back in 2019, the Miami Heat star had attended the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal as one of the guests of honours. McLaren star, then-19-year-old driver Lando Norris treated the NBA icon with a lap on the Canadian circuit.

Little did Jimmy know what he was getting himself into. As soon as Butler got into the car, he couldn’t trust Lando, one of the brightest young faces in his sport, with his life. While the two took sped around the track, Lando Norris seemed to have a great time doing what he did best, while Jimmy, he was certain he would never take part in such an event ever again.

As the British Formula 1 star drove around, Butler was horrified at the speed at which they were cruising. He saw his life flash in front of his eyes for that lap. The 230-pound Jimmy shrieked:

“Yo, please don’t go that fast. You don’t get to do that fast.”
“Woah, Woah, relax… you’re going too fast.”
“My stomach is going to fall out of my a**.”
“You got to let me out.”

It surely was a drive that Jimmy would never seem to forget. Despite his fear off the court, Butler has been terrorising in the league. While leading his team to the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference, he has been putting up 21.6 points, 7.2 assists and 7 rebounds per game along with a league-high 2.1 steals per game.
