Pelicans and Zion are hungry for the NBA playoffs
The Pelicans are the No. 10 seed team in the Western Conference. Pelicans would need to outclass No.8 seed grizzlies alongside the Blazers and the Kings if they want to see the team advancing into the playoffs.
Zion will be the key to their lock for the playoffs. The 6-Foot-6 rookie has been averaging 23.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.2 in 19 games that he played before the injury that caused him to sit.
Pelicans’ schedule in the NBA Bubble
The New Orleans Pelicans will start their Bubble season against Utah Jazz followed by Los Angeles Clippers. A win against any one opponent or both will put the team into a much stronger position for qualifying for the playoffs.
After that, they will have to face Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic, and Washington Wizards. Pelicans can grab that elusive playoff spot, if Zion keeps performing at the highest level.
