Yesterday Los Angeles Lakers lost to the defending champions Toronto Raptors (92-107). Now the difference between Celtics(43-22) and Raptors (47-18) has increased to 3.5 games in the Eastern Conference. Today’s game will be important for the Celtics as they have already lost their opening seeding game against Milwaukee Bucks (112-119).
Scrimmage Games for Portland Trail Blazers were disappointing as they were unable to clinch a single win but they were able to win their first seeding game against Memphis Grizzlies (140-135). And because Memphis are a direct rival for a Western Conference spot, the Blazers will be extremely buoyed.

The side is looking dangerous with Damian Lillard leading the way. Celtics on the other hand seemed a little off colour in the last game, especially Jayson Tatum, who shot awfully from the field.
Celtics need to get back in the groove or they could slide down the Eastern Conference standings.

Blazers vs Celtics Preview
The two teams have only met once during the 2019-20 regular season, 26 Feb, where Boston won the match 118-106. Boston Celtics are good on paper but the Blazers have the potential to turn around any situation in their favor.
Blazers sit at ninth place in the East whereas Celtics are placed third in the East. Today’s encounter will be crucial for both sides as it can improve their positioning for the playoff stage. While the Celtics have all but qualified for the playoffs, Blazers will need to play out of their skins to make it there
