Celtics vs Bucks TV Schedule

The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Boston Celtics on the 2nd day of the NBA 2020 season restart. Check out the preview for the game and where you can watch the action unfold live.

The Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks will take on the 3rd placed Boston Celtics on the 2nd night of the NBA 2020 season restart. The last time these two teams faced each other was on January 16, before the suspension of the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points in the game leading the Bucks to victory as the game ended 128-123. The Bucks stand at a 53-12 win record compared to the Celtics who have won only 43 games and lost 21.

This is arguably one of the best matchups of the day. While the Bucks have superstars like Giannis and veteran guard Khris Middleton, the Celtics are of their strongest challengers. Boston is the only team in the league which has 3 players averaging 20-points per game this season (Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker).

Celtics v Bucks Preview

The Bucks are a little short-handed with respect to the guards, as  Point guard Eric Bledsoe and shooting guard Pat Connaught will be sitting out the first game of the restart.

Both these players did not feature in the scrimmage games for the Bucks and they won’t be rushed in, as the Bucks don’t have much to play for in the seeding games.

The Celtics would surely want a win out of this game to catch up to the Raptors who are currently seeded second. However, it’ll be tough to do that as Kemba Walker will be on limited minutes. But if Giannis too is on limited minutes, Celtics could pull off a win here, thanks to how well Tatum is playing.

During the regular season, both teams won one game against the other in their own home. So, this game will definitely give a confidence boost to the winners!

How will the teams’ lineup?

Boston Celtics (Available roster): Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, Gordon Hayward, Carsen Edwards, Tacko Fall, Javonte Green, Enes Kanter, Ojeleye, Vincent Poirier, Daniel Theis, Brad Wanamakar, Waters, Robert Williams, Grant Williams.

Milwaukee Bucks (Available roster): Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Sterling Brown, Donte DiVincenzo, George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova, Kyle Korver, Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, Frank Mason, Wesley Matthews, Marvin Williams, DJ Wilson

It is still unsure whether Giannis will start from the bench or will sit-out of this game. Brook Lopez is another star to watch out for. He has played excellently well in the scrimmages. The Bucks will certainly look to maximise on his output from shooting in this game.
