The NBA continues tonight with a crucial game between the Nuggets and the Thunder which might end having a great impact on the eventual seeding’s in the stacked Western Conference. The Nuggets sit a game ahead of Jazz and Rockets while the Thunder remain half a game behind them. A victory for the Thunder will put them on level with the Jazz and Rockets and just 0.5 games behind the Nuggets.

Thus there are massive implications of this game and one will that will be very hotly contested. Team preview – Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets were brushed aside by a ruthless performance by Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat. The Nuggets could not put a fight against the Heat as they were their three starters in Jamal Murray, Will Barton and Gary Harris.

As with most stars on their first night back, Jokic struggled to shoot against the Heat. The franchise star still managed to put up 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jerami Grant provided some crucial points off the bench with 19 points. The team failed to put up a fight in the 1st game, but that should change tonight, as they would be more familiar with things now.

While the Nuggets might not have all their starters back for the clash against Thunder, expect them to put up a better show this time around. Jokic will be looking to get back his scoring touch and would have to do the bulk of the scoring in the absence of Jamal Murray.

Expected starting line-up: Monte Morris, Torrey Craig, Michael Porter Jr , Paul Millsap, Nikola Jokic.

Team preview – Oklahoma City Thunder

A team which was initially written off by critics has been one of the hottest teams in the league. Chris Paul has rallied the troops wonderfully, and Gilgeous-Alexander has provided amazing support.

Chris Paul played 27 minutes and  finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists against the Jazz while Alexander scored 19 points. Steve Adams, Darius Bazley and Dennis Schroder scored 16, 10 and 13 points respectively.

The OKC Thunder are the favorites to win the game as they have been in ominous touch even before the lockdown in early march.

Westbrook’s departure was seen as bad news for Thunder, but they have responded brilliantly this season under the able leadership of Paul.

Expected starting line-up: Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams

Without Jamal Murray, the Nuggets are already on the back foot, and should in all probability succumb to the pressure by Thunder.
