Dwight Howard has been part of a lot of controversy at the Bubble in Orlando. Howard was told on by someone on the anonymous NBA snitch hotline for not wearing a mask in public.
Adam Silver and co. have made it pretty clear that masks will have to be worn by players at all times within the Bubble, but Howard has been taking things a little too lightly.
Now, Portland Trailblazers star guard CJ McCollum has criticized Howard for not wearing a mask inside the Bubble.
The NBA has put in strict protocols inside the Bubble to create a safe environment. Wearing of masks, regular testings, and practicing social distance are all in play at the Bubble. These protocols are put in place to avoid the spread of coronavirus. And the players will need to be disciplined enough to follow all the protocols to ensure smooth functioning of the Bubble restart.
McCollum criticizes Lakers star
Howard was reportedly snitched on for ‘not wearing a mask’ inside the Bubble. The tip was completely anonymous and the NBA has asked Howard to follow the protocols.

Blazers star CJ McCollum speaking to the media as per ESPN’s Royce Young said that he has been wearing a mask even when no one is around him because that is the right thing to do.
“I’m wearing the mask and no one is around me,” “I just wanted you guys to know that.”
Howard earlier had said that he was snitched on for not wearing a mask and he added that he didn’t wear a mask as no one was around him. He thought that it was ‘pointless’ that he had to wear a mask when no one else was around.
Dwight Howard says he thought it was pointless for someone to tell on him for not having a mask on when he was alone. Says he feels this is a very safe place given all the testing they’ve been going through. He acknowledges that outside the bubble, masks are important.

This was clearly a swing at Howard by McCollum for not wearing a mask. McCollum with his statement has made it clear that he is following the NBA guidelines and isn’t being careless like Howard.
What’s next for McCollum and Howard?
Both stars await the restart on the 30th of July. Lakers and Howard are flying high and are one of the favorites to win
the championship this year.
Whereas McCollum and Blazers will be hoping to secure the last playoff spot in the western conference.
It could very well be a possibility that both the teams will face each other in the 1st round of the western conference playoff.
