"No James Harden? No problem!": The Brotherhood of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant take down Devin Booker and his Phoenix Suns

Brooklyn Nets star duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving hold off the second-seeded Pheonix Suns for a 128-119 win at home

The Brooklyn Nets continued their hot streak, as Kevin Durant made his way back to the court again tonight. Durant was out for almost four games due to a calf injury. Tonight he made a strong comeback appearance from the bench. The Nets registered a solid 128-119 win over the Suns, who are considered as one of the best teams in the league right now.

The key driving force behind the win were Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The two All-Stars combined for 67 points. Kyrie led the way with 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 12 assists, whereas Durant added 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in his 28 minutes off the bench.

The brotherhood of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant

Back in the summer of 2019, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were both looking for new teams. After watching them, it was observed that the two would go together as a duo wherever they go. It was their friendship that got them looking for a new team together, and after watching them play together, one can say that they bring the same chemistry on the court.

The same could be observed last night as well. KD came off the bench for the Nets and showed the world why he is regarded as the best scorer in the league. The best part? Kyrie was right there on the bench cheering his buddy on!

The individual chemistries are solid for the Nets. However, they do have some work to do in the team chemistry department. Ever since the James Harden trade, the three stars have only played seven games together. What’s worse for them is that Harden is ruled out till the end of the regular season. In order to compete for the ring, the Nets would have to build chemistry right off the bat when Harden makes his return.
