“No Way Kings Beat Warriors at Home!”: Lakers Legend Magic Johnson Backs Stephen Curry and Co. To Wrap Things in Game 6
The Sacramento Kings wasted a golden opportunity at Golden 1 Center tonight. Hosting the Golden State Warriors, the Kings could not keep their home court magic alive and let the Warriors run all over them. This not only resulted in a loss, but essentially cost them the series. It’s not only me who feels this way, but also Lakers legend Magic Johnson. While Stephen Curry ran the show but tonight he had a ton of help.
The Game started off well, with the Kings taking an initial lead. However, the Warriors took over in the 2nd quarter, and even though it came close at times, they didn’t let go. It was a collective effort by the team, with everyone contributing to the 123-116 win.
So far in this series, the road team had won 0 games. However, the defending champions broke the trend and won Game 5. It was the 28th straight series where the Dubs took a game on the road.
This extends an NBA record streak: The Warriors have now won a road game in 28 consecutive playoff series. They have a chance to close out the Kings on Friday in San Francisco.

Magic Johnson backs Warriors to beat Kings in Game 6
Tonight the Warriors pulled off a spectacular win. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson gave the team a start, but it was an overall team effort to get them past the finish line. Kevon Looney matched his career high 22 rebounds and had seven assists to go along with it. Andrew Wiggins had 20 points, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Draymond Green came off the bench and had 21 points, four rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and a block.
Seeing their performances tonight, Magic Johnson couldn’t help but compliment them.
What a game for the Golden State Warriors! They had four players that scored 20 points. Steph Curry led the team with 31 points and Klay Thompson added 25.

After congratulating them, Magic went on to talk about how the series is over. He’s certain that the Kings aren’t beating the Warriors at home.
After tonight, this Series is over. There is no way the Kings will beat the Warriors in San Francisco at home!

The Warriors had an incredible home record this season, and are 2-0 at home these playoffs.
Can the Warriors wrap things up back at home?
The Warriors have played exceptional basketball at home this year. They had a 33-8 record at home, and Chase Center brings the best out of the Warriors. However, the Kings are a young and hungry team.
Going to Game 6, the Warriors need to stay disciplined if they want to win the series. Rebounding, controlling the turnovers, and taking smart shots. These three are the keys to success, and if they can follow these, Game 6 and the series should be theirs.
