'Obama is right, Michael Jordan is better than LeBron James': Skip Bayless finds fresh fuel against Lakers star

Skip Bayless used Barack Obama’s words this time to denigrate LeBron James and praise Michael Jordan.

The former President of the United States recently gave an interview about his favorite sportspersons. According to him, LeBron James still has a ways to go in order to equal Michael Jordan’s legacies. Obama viewed it in terms of Jordan’s superior team success with the Bulls – his six rings.

Obama did, however, give a lot of praise to LeBron James given his stupendous longevity right at the peak of the game. Obama believes LeBron could play at an All Star level even up until the age of 40.

How Skip Bayless used Obama’s comments to talk down LeBron James

Skip Bayless gave high props to Obama to start off. He called him ‘by far the most knowledgeable basketball fan I’ve seen as US President, and it’s not even close’.

Bayless then allowed Shannon Sharpe to describe how Jordan felt more like a God, a levitating human than anything else. Shay Sharpe recalls being unable to compose himself in Jordan’s presence.

Bayless then went on to his age old rants, all of the same sort, about how Michael Jordan has the greatest clutch gene he’s ever seen. How LeBron James’ performance in 2011 made him the ‘Frozen One’ and disqualified him from the discussion. It was nothing we haven’t seen a million times before, and won’t see a million times again.
